Marilyn Tipton...Chef/Food Stylist of Trutch Manor As co-owner of Trutch Manor Tourist Suites I concentrate my time as breakfast chef by creating breakfast memories. My passion for cooking began as a child growing up in a Polish home where I saw my mom and grandma prepare delicious meals. No one left our house with an empty tummy. In the 80's my husband, Les, and I created Whispers, a B&B in Key West, Florida. I was the chef and food stylist preparing breakfasts for our guests. When we moved to Victoria in the '90's, we created the restaurant, Figgwiggins. My experience as the chef at Figwiggins only added to my repertoire.

Trutch Manor's full served breakfast, which changes daily, includes both sweet and savory. Also included is a selection of fresh fruit, juices, coffee and tea. Trutch Manor's guests know they will wake up to Marilyn's choice of an omlette for the morning such as Tomato, Basil and Ham or Peppers, Sweet Onion, Hungarian Salami and diced Tomato, or Eggs Florentine...the list goes on...and Marilyn's choice of French Toast L'Orange or Blintz Souffle or Fruit Pancakes... ...all made fresh that morning.

The Parlour The Parlour Suite is the origional Parlour/Dining Room of Trutch Manor and is extremely spacious, comfortable and lovely. The Parlour is on our first floor and the view from the large front windows is our new Courtyard.The Parlour, as do all suites, has a private entrance off of our lobby entrance.

The Library Enjoy a peaceful stay in our one bedroom Library Suite. Located on the second floor of Trutch Manor, the Library Suite's bathroom has the origional, oversized, bathtub of the house (wonderful for a long soak after exploring Victoria) with a hand held shower.The Library's eclectic mix of furnishings make for a very comfortable stay. The Reading Room The Reading Room is a lovely one bedroom suite with queen size bed. Southern exposure makes for a bright and airy stay. Trutch Manor's guests not only enjoy the Reading Room for it's comforting feel but they also enjoy privacy and all the comforts of home...cable TV, CD/Radio, full kitchen and private bath.Come and enjoy the comfort of The Reading Room, or any of our other 5 suites, for your accommodations in Victoria.

Trutch Manor Trutch Manor is an accommodation in Victoria to enjoy for a day or an extended stay. All suites have full kitchens, private bathrooms, private entrances, cable TV, free Internet access (your computer or ours), coin laundry...and the list goes on. You may go to our website and "map" to see our ideal location. Most of our guests park their car in our free "off street" parking and walk to Victoria's Inner Harbour, points of interest and eateries.
