Where to stay in Victoria BC in 2015

I'm writing this just before Christmas and the New Year, times of fun, so let's take a light-hearted approach to identifying where to stay in Victoria BC in 2015. Let's look for interesting, sometimes unusual, aspects of Victoria B&B's. One of the reasons we stay at bed and breakfasts is their sheer individuality. Since we all enjoy different features let's see if we can find B&B's which fit your interests.

Christmas at Craigdarroch Castle

Nowhere in Victoria lends itself to a traditional Christmas setting as well as does Craigdarroch Castle. It epitomises the elegance and cosy charm of Victorian Christmas cards.

Winter activities in Victoria

We recently received an accommodation enquiry from past guests from Australia. They've stayed with us on three previous visits, generally in June. This year they are visiting in November so I wondered what winter activities in Victoria will appeal to them. Being coastal with a seasonal climate we expect rain and cloud during the winter months, interspersed with sun. Snow is very rare. So a visit to Vancouver Island in November will entail some days enjoying indoor activities as well as days exploring our great outdoors.

Pride and Prejudice in Victoria

Enjoy Pride and Prejudice in Victoria at the Langham Court Theatre from 2 - 18 October 2014 as Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice launches the new season of six plays.

Victoria Dragon Boat Festival

The Victoria Dragon Boat Festival celebrates its 20th year on 15th, 16th and 17th August 2014. Its website describes this as "3 days of unique sport, culture and fun".
